Darmera peltata (Torrey ex Benth.) Voss. Umbrella plant.  Native to sunny streamsides in Oregon, N California and Utah. The flowers, white to pink, bloom in April-June.  Sometimes called Peltophyllum peltatum. The leaves, with a stem attached in the centre, are indeed umbrella-like.Height to 1 m (40").  Zone 5. 

Pot 10 cm / 4".  In Canada C$8.00; elsewhere US$7.25.
