鸢尾蒜 Yuan wei suan
(Chinese).
Umbels of starry trumpets, sky blue shading to amethyst, bloom on
40-cm (16") stems in June. Very pleasing en masse, especially with
grasses. Native
to stony slopes and grasslands in Central Asia. Our corms are grown from seeds received
from an exchange. Very
hardy.
