Acorus gramineus 'Masamune'. せきしょう‘正宗’ (Japanese). Variegated dwarf sweet flag. Short, narrow, stiff, grasslike leaves are brightened with white edges. Use this plant singly as a highlight or mass it as a texture, especially in small "bald spots." It is happy in part shade to full sun but requires wet soil. Ideal sites would be the edge of a pond or crevices among rocks. Height 15-30 cm (6-12"). Zone 6, perhaps colder. Bare-root plant. $6.00 |
